How to pay workers using instant deposit to debit card

Sometimes paying via ACH same-day is not fast enough or work gets in the way and you miss the same day ACH window. Everee has a solution that will allow you to pay your workers in a one-time payment instantly using the Visa and Mastercard debit card network. See our FAQ for details. 

Here is what you do.

Create a one-time payment.

In the Payment method dropdown, select Instant deposit to debit card.

*If Instant deposit to debit card is not available as an option, this feature has not been enabled on your account. Please contact support@everee.com to find out if you qualify.

Create your payment as usual. If your workers have an approved debit card on file, the Payment method will be Instant deposit and, upon approval, that worker will receive their pay within minutes. If a worker in the payment does not have a valid debit card on file, their Payment method will default to Direct deposit and they will be paid via ACH in the next ACH processing window. Please note that if the payment is approved after 11:00am MST, any workers without a debit card on file will be paid the next banking day. Any workers without a debit card on file will receive an email notification that you attempted to pay them using Instant Deposit and to add a card to their profile to take advantage of the benefit next time.

Click Create payment run and approve the payment when you're ready to pay your workers.

If you receive an error like this when creating your payment run

This means that you do not have the funding amount available with Everee to pay using Instant deposit. You can change the gross amount on individual workers, delete individuals from the payment or change the Payment method to Direct Deposit in the drop down next to the worker and save your changes to try again.
