Overview:
Time verification is a tool which helps companies keep time punches as accurate as possible. At the end of each day Everee will automatically ask managers (in our system) to review, edit and verify hours worked by members of their team that day.
NOTE: workers do NOT have the ability to edit their own hours so if your teammates neglect to clock in or out, it’s your responsibility to assist.
Download the Everee app:
First, download the Everee mobile app either on the Google Play or Apple’s App Store. We also support a browser version but the mobile app is the recommended tool.
Configure your experience:
Next, configure how you want to receive notifications. Remember, each day Everee will send a request for you to verify your teams hours and you can configure this notification from the mobile app or from the web app.
Once you are on the notification preference page you select your preference. If you plan to use the Everee mobile app we recommend you select “push notifications” which come directly from the Everee app and will launch the app.
Navigating between your personal and manager account:
As a manager you will find yourself needing to jump between your manager tools and your personal information. Regardless of which view you are in, if you need to switch between your manager and personal tools you can do so by clicking on your avatar in the top right.
The notification:
Once you have been designated as a manager you will start to receive notifications (Everee will send these notifications regardless if you have set up your notification preferences). When you receive the notification you will be prompted to review, edit and verify the hours worked by your team.
Note: Everee only sends the notification on days when there are unverified shifts. So if someone from your team has worked and you have not verified their shift(s), we will notify you to review the shift details. If you don't verify the shift information, the Everee admin can do so, usually while they are processing payroll, but if not Everee will resend the notification everyday until someone does verify the shift.
Verifying a shift:
You can verify shifts from the “Verify Hours” section of our app by simply tapping 'verify' and you should only tap this after you have confirmed that the worker has actually worked these hours. If you need more information you can tap on the arrow to the right.
NOTE: Workers do NOT have the ability to edit their own hours so if your teammates neglect to clock in or out, it’s your responsibility to assist.
Note: If your company has enabled Geotagging you may want to check that the worker was where they were supposed to be when they clocked in and out (see below).
View time details of a worker:
Because one worker can work many shifts in a day, we allow you to view details, edit or confirm shift information for each shift. You can do so by tapping on the worker's row which gives you more information. Tapping deeper into the shift gives you even more detail (see below).
All shift details:
If you need to view all the details of the shift you can do it from the worker's shift detail page (see below). You can edit and save any of the details as well.
Geotagging: the manager experience is driven by the configuration of the company’s account and one configuration option is geotagging. If configured, Everee provides the location of where the worker was when they clocked in or out using the Everee mobile app. We do NOT track the worker’s movement - only their location when they clock in our out.
Adding a shift:
Shifts can be manually enter in by managers when a worker neglects to clock in and out. To add a shift, select a worker from the timesheet page and select 'add shift'. You will be able to enter in the start and stop day and time and save the shift.
