With Everee document acknowledgement, you can ask workers to review, complete and acknowledge all of the business critical documentation necessary for your business from within Everee saving you time and keeping you organized.
This includes the Federal I-9 document. During onboarding Everee will automatically ask the worker to collect the details for section 1 and section 2 of the I-9. Which means all you need to do is run the Everify and sign off on the document.
First, workers will be asked to agree to sign electronically.
Next, workers will be asked to provide the information needed in section 1 and 2 including an option to upload photocopies of the necessary identification
At that point you can run your Everify and complete the I-9 documentation process
If you aren't sure which workers need I-9 attention, particularly the E-Verify process and company signature, you can track that from the new I-9 report found in the reporting section.
If the worker does not agree to sign / acknowledge, as an admin you can mark the document as signed from the worker profile
As an admin, you can control if you want Everee to collect the I-9 content for you. By default, we will turn this feature on for you. Note: if you turn this feature off any workers in the onboarding sequence will have to complete the I-9 process.
Note: we do not currently support the ability to download documents with worker signatures and details but the audit history provides all the necessary details include date and IP
